I hope you've all had a good weekend. I wanna hear all about the shows that went down. Ya'll should post up reviews of some good shows you have been to recently. I'll do the same. Been to shows 4 days in a row, so ima have to sit down and write something about all of them. Thus more to come soon..

YEAH BOY!!!! haha we just got back from B.O.B, Kid Cudi on friday. Then some bangin Daddy Kev, ESKMO, GLITCH MOB!!!!, and Ana Sia....
ReplyDeleteKid Cudi threw it down throughout his set and the Regency Ballroom has one of the best sound systems i have ever heard...made my chest go crazy...all we could think about was "what if this was a dubstep show" haha...we left early since Asher Roth (who officially sucks and still everyone in the crowd was there for him instead of Cudi, smh) was ending the night, so we left and cruised thru sf lookin for another club or bar and remembered about a dubstep show going on...randomly lookin for anything we stumbled upon DJ Tarzan and the exact dubstep show we were lookin for right around the corner from our hotel...we got down for a bit and then called it a night...
Saturday night went to Glitch Mob's show wayyyy early and ended up being the first ones there...Met the security outside and just had time to chill and get ready for an amazing set from ESKMO, GLITCH MOB, and Ana Sia...Glitch Mob used these touchscreens instead of turntables and comps...They faced the crowd so you could see exactly what they were doin at that exact moment...edIt was going nuts on them...Ana Sia is some little girl who was dancing next to us in the beginnin then she played a hour set and THREW IT DOWN!!!!
GREAT weekend in SF!!!! cant wait to do it again..

ReplyDeleteyeah ana sia gets down with the crowd when she's not performing...dope girl. i was at sound tribe fri and sat. worst two sets i have ever seen them play. they weren't dropping their tracks the way they used to and didn't play a lot of their classics. overall, i was extremely disappointed. they need to just bag that new album, shit is AWFUL! eskmo played at one of the afterparties and also played a super weird set. he would drop some hot shit and then go off into some weird atmospheric shit that you couldn't get down to. on another note, flying lotus, pretty lights, and emancipator THREW DOWN! all super dope sets. it rained at red rocks and my ipod broke so i am pretty biter about that, but i'm working on getting it fixed. i also tried k this weekend. that shit is fucking crazy...felt like i was in peewee herman's playhouse all night. i wanna hear about the shows you've been attending alan! i'm sure you've been at some ragers!
